Another busy Friday Night in Winslow!!!
So, I'm on the Board of Directors for a local non-profit that feeds hot meals to the elderly and needy, and well, anyone! I've been voted to step up to President from Treasurer, and Damon has been voted in to take over as Treasurer.
So that basically means we are going to be very busy! Just how busy you ask? Here's Damon working at the island. This is his first lesson in being Treasurer. He's not confused, he's focused!
Anyway, it's a great service that many people in the community rely on, so we're happy to help. I only wish that more people would take advantage of our services. We serve lunch Monday through Friday and all are welcome! And of course, all donations are welcome as well!
The goal is to get everything on the business side of Winslow Community Meals all caught up and in order. We want to make sure we document all the policies and procedures, and that they are in place for everything, so that if we ever need to step down, anyone will have the information they need to take our places and continue to keep Winslow Meals alive to support our community.
