It's Friday night in Winslow and it's Valentine's Day. You'd think we had some great big plans to paint the town.....
Not so much, because we are going to visit our families in Tulsa tomorrow, we decided we would do our Valentine's celebrating next weekend.
So, when I got off work I stopped by Domino's to pick up a couple of pizzas and headed home. We're still on our X-Files marathon (no girly movies here) so we figured we would keep on trucking. We're finally on season 7 and I have to admit the earlier seasons were much better but it seems most shows are like that. I've seen the entire series but Damon hasn't. He never watched the show because they went sideways with the "creatures" and "monsters", sure you could call just about anything weird or unexplained an "X-File" but people really just wanted to see the alien and UFO stuff.
So, we're doing just that. We're are reading the plot for each episode and if it's alien related or even if it sounds remotely interesting, we watch those episodes and skip all the random shit they do. Some shows you can't really do that with because they all link together somehow, fortunately, X-Files isn't really like that and we have yet to find ourselves starting an episode and saying "WTF, what's going on?"
Anyway, not the most romantic Valentine's day ever but we'll do that next week!
